ATLAS.ti is proud to partner with the International Qualitative Research Network (IQRN) at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, and Inquiry Methodology at the Indiana University School of Education, to offer you the best of qualitative research methods and initiatives from around the world.
Qualitative thematic analysis is a multifaceted process designed to reveal underlying patterns and insights within intricate data through the application of coding. Given its intricate and iterative nature, which demands meticulous attention, pattern recognition, and a readiness for unexpected discoveries, there arises a clear necessity for a systematic and adaptable 'coding language'. This necessity gave rise to the development of the Systematic Contextual Coding Technique (SCCT). SCCT is characterised by the systematic labelling and categorisation of data segments based on their contextual relevance to the research question. In this webinar, participants will gain knowledge and practical skills in performing open and axial coding using the principles of SCCT within the coding functionalities of ATLAS.ti. They will also learn how to visualise themes using the ATLAS.ti network view and how to report these themes using the export functionality. By the end of the webinar, participants will be equipped to effectively implement SCCT in qualitative thematic analysis, thereby enhancing the depth and scope of their qualitative data analysis.
This Webinar will be held on December 13, 2023, at 7:00 PM (PT)
