Inauguration of the First Qualitative Research Laboratory and the Argentinian Network of ATLAS.ti Users
In alliance with our partner, the Centro de Estadística e Informática Aplicada (CEIA) of FLACSO Argentina, the ATLAS.ti Latin America team created the first ATLAS.ti Users' Network in Argentina on November 13th and 14th. This network has been created within the framework of the official inauguration of the 1st Qualitative Methodology Laboratory (through an agreement between FLACSO Argentina and ATLAS.ti). All these activities were carried out during the 1st Open Workshop: The implementation of ATLAS.ti in the Field of Social Sciences (event sponsored by ATLAS.ti). The main objective of the Argentinian Network of ATLAS.ti Users is to encourage communication and exchange between users to enhance the use of ATLAS.ti with advanced methodologies and operational techniques that, in turn, jointly expand our knowledge as users to improve the processing of qualitative data. Finally, with the official opening of the laboratory, we will continue to publish joint documents and hold further ATLAS.ti trainings, open seminars, and workshops to explore and expand the debate on the use of computer resources such as ATLAS.ti in qualitative and social sciences in different areas of research.
