Collection and Use of Personal Information

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy tells you how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices.

Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person.

Personal Data

ATLAS.ti Mobile iOS collects or transmits NO PERSONAL DATA of any kind, including location data and documents assigned to, or created by, the app.

Anonymous Technical Data

No data is transferred to us or any other service as part of the app’s regular operation.

The only data that is ever transmitted *anonymously* is general crash report data in case of a malfunction. Such information is transmitted to Apple (configurable in the iOS device settings) and HockeyApp (after explicit user confirmation in case of a crash) for the sole purpose of diagnosing the error through our developers and to improve the app further.

Beyond these general technical reports that are required to diagnose a crash or malfunction, no data that can be used to identify you or that contains your name, address, or any other personal information is gathered, stored, collected, transmitted or used by or through the ATLAS.ti Mobile iOS app.

Project Data

No project data, i.e. documents and multimedia data gathered or created as part of your work with ATLAS.ti Mobile iOS is transmitted to ATLAS.ti or any third parties.

Combined Data

At no point do we combine non-personal information with personal information. Should this happen by accident or be required in certain specific, clearly defined circumstances (e.g., in the context of a support request), any combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined, i.e. your data will not be shared with any third parties or used for any purpose other than the specific purpose at hand.
