ATLAS.ti presents latest developments at the Berliner Methodentreffen

Berlin, Germany – July 18/19, 2014 – The Berliner Methodentreffen (BMT) celebrated its 10th anniversary this year at the Technical University in Berlin. ATLAS.ti was a sponsor and exhibitor at the event.

The Berliner Methodentreffen is hosted by the Institute of Qualitative Research. The event was organized by the Forum: Qualitative Social Research of the Fakulty: Psychology & Pedagogy and the Centre for Digital Systems of the FU Berlin in corporation with the Hans Böckler Stiftung und GESIS Mannheim.

ATLAS.ti was represented by Dr.Susanne Friese, ATLAS.ti expert and book author of “Qualitative Data Analysis with ATLAS.ti“ as well as Thomas Muhr, Founder and Chief Executive Manager of ATLAS.ti.

ATLAS.ti presented its newest software version, ATLAS.ti 7, along with the free mobile apps ATLAS.ti Mobile for IPad and ATLAS.ti Mobile for Android. Furthermore, the team exhibited the first version of ATLAS.ti for MAC OS X.

Dr. Susanne Friese hosted an ATLAS.ti workshop describing the pioneering contributions of ATLAS.ti to computer-assisted qualitative data analysis; presented a paper on software teaching methods; and presented a poster on the use of ATLAS.ti in the analysis of photographic data.

The Berliner Methodentreffen is the biggest yearly gathering of qualitative researchers in Germany. In regards to the BM, ATLAS.ti CEO Dr. Thomas Muhr said “Once again the BMT was a successful event for all of us, exhibitors together with visitors and researchers. We are proud of having been part of this important event that celebrates the field of computer-assisted qualitative data analysis.“
